I'm currently creating a workable portfolio of realistically-rendered faces to generate interest from galleries.

Influences
Artistically, my Mom was my first influence.  She used to doodle faces to keep us occupied during church services, which is why I've been drawing faces since I was 5.

My favorite artistic influence is Salvador Dali.  My surrealism reflects Dali's style quite a bit, but I live in a small town.  Surrealism doesn't sell well in small towns, so I'm back to drawing my first love, faces.

Favorite Movies
So many to choose from ... how about Memento, The Usual Suspects, Stigmata, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Dark City, and Princess Mononoke.

Favorite TV Shows
When we've got a moment to watch, it's usually 24, Alias, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Gilmore Girls.

Favorite Books
Oh my,... too many,... how about authors? Mercedes Lackey, Charles De Lint, Tim LaHaye & Jerry Jenkins (Left Behind Series).

Hobbies
Drawing, reading, origami, crocheting, knitting, tending plants, cosseting cats, learning new things

Dream Project
Being able to support myself and family by staying home and drawing.
